To a larger extent, the appraisal of a product or service is evidently dependent on the engagement and feedback albeit positive, it gets from the end users or customers of that product or service.
Taking the above statement into cognizance, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency, NiMet, organised an Aviation Stakeholders meeting at the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano State.
The objective of the programme is to interact with Aviation stakeholders/customers with the view of extracting firsthand feedback on all the products offered by NiMet to the aviation community and possible areas of further improvement and synergy.
According to the Director-General/CEO, ably represented by the Director, Weather Forecasting Services, Mr. Daniel Okafor, used the opportunity to re-emphasize the intrinsic role that meteorology plays in the aviation sector as far as safety is concerned, and urged for more cooperation amongst sister agencies and uniform personnels.
The NiMet North West Zonal office Aviation stakeholders meeting, marks the ninth edition of the programme. The event also featured a question and answer session to harvest ideas and recommendations from the customers.
