Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo Presidency: The Njiko Ndi Anioma Demands Zoning to Deltans

The Njiko Ndi Anioma, the pan socio- cultural group, Lagos chapter met on Sunday 20th of March, 2022 to discuss how the zoning position of Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo will be zone to the region based on alphabetical order.

To show the readiness and seriousness of the group, several prominent sons and daughters of Anioma technocrats were visibly present at the meeting which includes, Chief Dr, Sylvan Ebigwe ,Obi-Eze Anioma Shasha Lagos, Omu of Anioma Lagos, state, President and founder, Njiko Ndi Anioma, Chuks Smith's, High Chief Micheal Diji, Pastor Patrick Nwanze,the representative of Azagba of Azagba, Nwalupue Tony, High Chief Ogbonna, from Enugu contingent, Hon, Daniel Ejiofor, Okwumbu Kingsley, the president of market leaders, Deacon Obih Ugoabata, the president, Igbo community Lagos, among others.





Speaking at the event, the president Njiko Ndi Anioma started that the zoning of the presidency position of Ohanaeze to Deltans, Enugu, Rivers and Ebonyi state is a must under the alphabetical order which the Apex body recognized.He noted that the zoning should properly defined which is the turn of Deltans to produced the next president of the prestigious institution in Lagos.

The president who appeared frantic, introduced the two contestants  who shown interest in contesting for the Presidency position, said the Anioma as a group has been contributing their quarters since inception of the organization in Lagos.

"We are here today to state categorically that the concern body should consider it fit to zone the presidency of Ohanaeze Ndi-Igbo to Delta State, going by the alphabetical order agreement.Delta state have been contributing their quarters since inception of the organization and we believe that by this remarkable event of Anioma Deltans ,our status in all ramifications will drastically receive a boost" said Chuck's






The president who also took his time to enumerate various achievements and projects handled by the group in the past to support the natives of Deltans Anioma in Lagos, warmed that some enemies of Anioma are saying that Anioma don't have people to represent them in the position should be careful not to incurred the wrought of God. The president also itemized the various projects  executed by NJIkO ANIOMA in Lagos which includes: Empowerment of over 100 women with (N100,00) hundred thousand naira cash,the relieve materials given out to over 150 Anioma people living in Lagos and the fuition of presence of Anioma, now highly recognized by Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo in Lagos.

The two candidates vying for the presidency, Pastor Nwanze Patrick and Chief Dr, Micheal Diji were also given an opportunity to present their manifestoes to the audience, one will later chose to present ANIOMA in the election. 

Chief Micheal Diji,a chartered accountant,and a native of Onicha Ugbo from Delta North, had master degree in three discipline and had managed several businesses in Lagos.Dr Diji, also known as PG  is currently, the Isagba of Onicha Ugbo.

Mr Patrick Nwanze is a pastor from Igbo Uzor, studied in US and he had double master from California university.Pastor had contributed immensely to various development both home and Lagos that impacted people of Anioma positively.He vowed to empowered Anioma women folk if given the opportunity to lead Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo in Lagos.

Drama ensued, when the two candidates were asked to pledge their support for the Njiko Ndi Anioma, for an obvious reasons, both candidates refused to take the lead, waiting for who to contribute first, hence, they were fined.

To the Anioma elders,the two candidates actions potend insult,and to ensure this doesn't happen again,Obi Eze Anioma had to fined the two them and asked them to apologize to the people of Anioma sitted with something to wage the tray.

This is the kind of discipline anyone elected  from Anioma clan will bring to bare to the Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Lagos after election..

The election of who becomes the president of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Lagos State is a major thing,the election proper will come up May this year and anybody that wins the battle becomes the leader of the entire Igbo speaking tribes in Lagos for the period of five years.
