The third anniversary of the humanitarian concern, Tabitha New Life Foundation, would not have been a reality but for the unbroken records in discharging it's humanity engagement.
The foundation in its characteristically problem-solving manner and giving galore had again spread smiles to another set of 54 widows in the provision of tools, machinery and training to augment living.
The third anniversary came up on the 14 August 2022 at the expansive Heritage hall Giwa junction at iju Ishaga/Oke Aro Lagos.
The attendance was marked with different personalities from all walks of life. The hall was a beehive of activities with the stage adorned and well positioned with different equipments for the beneficiaries who have been trained and mastered different vocations ranging from fashion designing/tailoring, Catering services, frozen foods merchant with table full of new attires and clothing for others especially the older categories.
In her opening remarks, the President and Visionary of Tabitha New Life Foundation, Amb. Adunke Olatunji gave God the glory for His consistent provision and, blessing the widows through the foundation that is funded by individuals, Partners, supporters and well wishers who love to change the stories of the indigent widows.
She said giving has been part of her life from time immemorial and not always comfortable in the midst of suffering amidst plenteous. The cardinal aim that fuelled the establishment of the foundation is to transform widows and widowers that cannot fend for their living and pull them out of their despicable states.
The President stressed the need to take care of the less privileged in the society which can be done by everybody. Giving the widows a lease of life should be encouraged to foster better living reorient those who have lost either patent or both that life does not terminate where a father or mother is dead.
Through the help of partners, supporters and helpers the foundation has been lifting people and transforming lives. The funding has been consistent and beneficial for the purpose it is meant. However, just like the biblical clause, the harvest is plenty but labourers are few. This goes to the extent that we can only achieve little with the meager fund we can access that more sponsors and supporters are invited to help in the gigantic tasks so that others will be blessed.
Tabitha New Life Foundation has indeed extended and established presence in 29 states in Nigeria. Also, on ground in Some African, American and Asian countries.
It is expected that similar presentation of equipment and empowerment program is billed to hold in Rwanda in July but has been shifted to October due to diplomatic reasons.
These year's beneficiaries come from far and near branches of the foundation, such as Ondo, Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun, Lagos and Taraba states. The beneficiaries joy knew no bounds as it was great relief to be engaged and carry out there enterprises.
In all, total of Fifty four(54) widows went home with various items for their empowerment. Over 400 guests were in attendance.
The Chairman of the occasion, Engr Adekola Lamidi who was ably represented by Mr Tunde Arini lauded the objectives of the foundation and gave kudos to the management for their transparent, conservative and judicial use of fund. He further stated it is because of these wise application of funds with transparency that is keeping the donators or givers to do more. He advised that this attitude should be constantly at play which will contribute to onward movement and arrival of the foundation at the top.
Others were well entertained and went home smiling with their anniversary package. Items of clothing were also given to them as gifts.
The president use the opportunity to call on well-meaning Nigerians, Agencies and Government to come to the aid of humanity services.
