Lagos Teachers Merit Award ceremony: 13 Finalist received Brand New Cars

Out of 22 teachers that made it to the semi final, 13 Finalist received Brand New cars as a token of motivation from the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Aduragbemi Sanwo Olu yesterday.

'It was a  befitting way to end the day with a celebration of our excellent and hardworking teachers at the Teachers Merit Award ceremony,' SanwoOlu accolades.

"Through education, we have developed a template towards rewarding selflessness, dedication and diligence amongst teachers in our state."

The award is a very good way to motivate and encourage excellence in our teachers. 

A very big congratulations to the 22 teachers that made it to the semi-final stage from about 3529 applicants. "My special congratulations go to the 13 finalists who were recipients of brand new cars today," he expressed.

The Governor then urge all teachers not to relent in their pursuit of excellence, for  they are the diamonds encrusted on gold rings for this noble and honorable profession. 

"He  wishes then  more triumphs as we collectively work together towards moving Lagos State to greater heights in the education sector.
